You will always have a special place in my heart in helping me through my very darkest time and so that Brian didn’t suffer- it was so peaceful for him.

They wanted to tell me about this wonderful palliative medicine physician who took excellent care of Eleanor and their family. They had wonderful things to share with me about how helpful, caring, and thoughtful you were as you guided them through this very sad and difficult time.

Dr. Chheda was an absolute joy to work with! His level of compassion, bedside manner, and dedication to end-of-life care is second to none.

I wanted to write you, since I am not sure if I fully expressed my appreciation about all the time you spent with me answering my questions about what was happening with him, and also on the phone with his daughter from California who is also a doctor. When you took me aside and suggested that we go to inpatient hospice, I did not fully understand how close to dying he was, but I know you see this every day, and I so appreciate your direction…I can’t begin to imagine how hard it must be to take care of people as they are dying. But it’s also an honor too, because everyone had a life before the time they were sick...

On behalf of my sister and my stepmother, I wanted to tell you how much our family appreciates the compassionate care our father received from you…this cancer journey hasn’t been great, but we all truly appreciate your guidance and kindness during such a rough time.
